Position Summary

We are seeking a part-time Life Enrichment Assistant for the assisted living, memory care residents on our beautiful Raybrook Campus. This key member of our Raybrook Team embraces and implements the Vibrant Living programming model specifically focusing on Social Engagement and Intellectual Discovery while working to blend all five components of wellness into the lives of our residents.

What Will You Do?

Recreational Therapy Assistant will help to implement a variety of purposeful social and intellectual opportunities that will meet the many different needs, backgrounds, style and preferences of the Residents. This will give the Residents the ability to find fulfillment out of the activity/event that appeals to them the most.

Desired Skills & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior event planning or activity planning experience
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, residents, and families – requires courtesy, tact, respect, and patience in all situations
• Compassionate heart for working with older adults
