bb.q Chicken at South Main Street Plaza is looking for individuals interested in joining our team as Line Cook/Prep Cook. If you like working in a familiar work environment, providing genuine service, quality food and, most importantly, have a passion to learn and grow with us, we would love to meet you!

This position is responsible for preparing tasty quality food that is consistent from day to day. Must be in compliance with bb.q Chicken Restaurants standards in all areas of operation. The restaurant cook must comprehend and follow the importance of proper personal hygiene and sanitation procedures.

~Essential Responsibilities~

• Washes, cuts, weighs, measures and mixes ingredients and prepares following specifications and cooking instructions.
• Cooks food in accordance with detailed recipes and procedures. Uses all appropriate cooking equipment such as ranges and various utensils.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety and general appearance of cooking stations. Cleans work tables and utensils.
• Performs related duties as required.

~Experience~

• Professional cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)
• Line cook: 1 year (Preferred)
