We’re FIXIN’ to FIX some FIXINS on Oak Island!

We're a breakfast and lunch restaurant that offers a southern inspired brunch menu throughout the day. Featured menu items will include homemade buttermilk biscuits with the FIXINS (homemade pimento cheese, locally sourced honey & jam), and many other southern classics such as chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, and biscuits & sausage gravy. FIXINS’ vision is to create a sense of southern hospitality through its service and southeastern classic cuisine.

Culinary Team:

• Looking for foodies who enjoy working with a wide range of quality ingredients and making great food! Hot & cold food stations.
• We’ve created a culinary team who is willing to pay attention to the details of providing quality, service, presentation and cleanliness when it comes to food-service.
• Assisting with daily prep work and setting up kitchen stations.
• Preparing & platting foods based on recipes and safety standards.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must work well with other kitchen staff while in close proximity under high pressure conditions.
• The job is breakfast and lunch/day shift, however must be able to work weekends.
• ServSafe certification a plus, but not a requirement.
• Starting pay ($15-$18) dependent on culinary experience

Restaurant hours will be 7a – 2p, which means staff is finished work to enjoy their afternoons on the beach and evenings with friends and family.
