Special Requirements: Able to work with indoor smoker. Ok with a cat or dog residing in residence.

We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals to assist clientele in their private home. Certified Nursing Assistant / Caregivers will be required to assist clients with various ADL's (Activities of daily living) as outlined per each individualized care plan. This position is 24 hour shifts for 3-4 days a week in the client's home providing simple medication reminders, personal cares, meals, light housekeeping, Dr. appointments, running errands, etc. This position requires a caregiver willing to care for an indoor smoker.

Personal assistants are provided a private room in which to spend your sleep/off time. Your main objective is to provide the highest quality personal care and help clients navigate the difficulties associated with the aging processes. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with the care manager assigned to clients to ensure that individual care plans are current and up to date, meeting their specific needs.

Responsibilities for CNA / Caregiver

• Assist clients with daily living activities as outlined by care plan.
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Communicate with clients with patience, compassion, and caring demeanor.
• Maintain continued vigilance monitoring and evaluating all physical, mental, and environmental changes to client’s safety and wellbeing.
• Advocate for client / patient’s safety and wellbeing.
• Report all observations of any changes to care manager on a frequent basis, allowing adjustments to care plan. This is key to better serving client’s ever-changing needs.
• Adept at continually updating and discussing any changes with clients physical, mental, or environment with fellow team members during change in shift.

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistant / Caregiver

• Ability to build rapport with clients and deliver exceptional care.
• Reliable transportation
• 2 years minimum previous experience in direct personal care.
• Willing to submit to criminal background check and drug testing.
• Have current on First Aid/CPR certification
• Have current TB test a plus.
• Fingerprint card a plus
• CNA certification a plus
• COVID Vaccine a plus
