Overview:
Aggregate Industries, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Loader Operator to operate a Rubber Tire Loader in support of our Ready Mix Plant in LaPlata, MD. The position will be primarily responsible for loading trucks and feeding bins with various materials, and moving materials from one location to another.
Responsibilities:
- Operates rubber tire loader to load materials into bins, a crusher, other trucks or the plant.
- Performs visual and safety inspections of the equipment.
- Maintains the appearance of the equipment, proper air pressure and proper fluid levels, and performs minor repairs, as needed.
- Assists with coupling and de-coupling of rail cars and loading
- Adheres to all safety, environmental and compliance regulations
- Completes any paperwork that may be required of the position
- Collects samples from various supplier sites as required. Work performed in a laboratory setting or at a field location.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) of experience or equivalent combination of experience.
- Ability to read and write.
- Excellent driving skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays
