Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
- Ability to read, write and communicate routine information
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for long periods of time.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Essential Duties:
- Strip guest rooms of dirty linens, make beds
- Clean bathrooms
- Launder all dirty linens
- Ensure all rooms have proper guest amenities
- Restock supply closets
- Basic room maintenance; such as : Fixing door handles or door jams, replacing light bulbs, picking up trash, cleaning or replacing AC filters, and painting.
- Cleans outside furniture and picks up outside trash.
- Elevate any room maintenance issues to the Hospitality Coordinator if they are not able to be fixed.
- Keep the restroom and common areas clean throughout the Lodging office and Intern kitchen.
- Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and garbage containers
- Wash windows and steam clean carpet
- Promotes diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility.
- Other duties as assigned
