Objectives of this Role

· Own daily traffic for all logistics operations

· Own dock scheduling process for all locations

· Assist with weekly logistics planning including outbound routing plans, dock scheduling and transfer scheduling

· Collect data and report KPIs

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

· Provide logistics coordination for all logistics operations for Rhode Island, Utah, and third-party locations

· Assist in implementation of processes designed to fulfill KPIs and lead indicators

· Daily reporting of statistical data in support of measuring KPI’s

· Assists in the development of improved work processes and procedures that enhance logistics performance and effectiveness of assigned work teams and is accountable for achieving the incremental results from the implementation of these improvements within their scope of work

· Manage time and workload to meet the demands of the organization, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency

· Meet regularly with cross functional group to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for logistics efficiency, continuous improvement, and team development

Skills and Qualifications

· Associates Degree or Equivalent professional experience

· 2 + years’ experience in a logistics focused role

· 1+ year in a customer service role

· Proficient knowledge of logistics and transportation best practices and procedures

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Self-Starter

· Ability to work cross functionally with all levels of company staff

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or engineering

· Customer service experience strongly preferred

· Exposure to TMS/WMS systems

· Experience in brokerage, carrier dispatch or corporate logistics
