We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Supervisor to join our team. You will manage multiple levels of customer interaction and serve as a single point of contact to one of largest strategic DGF customers. This position will be based at the customer location in Tipp City, OH
Job Summary: DGF Logistics Support Supervisor provides dedicated on-site support for Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Company and their 3PL partners in all aspects end to end. The LSS position is committed to provide a high level of service that surpasses industry standards, and to meet & exceed requirements of the local customer site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise and integrate with 3PL team on site to ensure that DGF achieves our contracted responsibilities and customer has continuous support
- Acts as a key contact for DFW and ORD Stations
- Reviews CW1 entries, shipment movements/status, deep dives frustrated shipments and provides responses/solutions to DHL, 3PL, and customer
- Attend 3PL meetings as required and present opportunities to 3PL, customer and DGF
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs in a pleasant and friendly manner
- Ability to self-manage, self-motivate, and raise and ons to DFW station supervisor/manager when support is needed
- Any duties not outlined above that fall within the scope of business and customer requirements
Skills/Requirements:
- Preferred 3 years transportation or logistics experience
- Preferred BA/BS degree
- Preferred SAP experience
- Intermediate skills required in Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point
- Good knowledge in English (verbal/written)
- Good telephone and E-mail skills
