CGS is Seeking to hire a temporary Logistics Support Team Lead to join our team in support to XCTC Army National Guard training. Log Support Leads provide on-ground management of a 4-10 person team of Logistics Team Members (laborers) to ensure that all logistics support functions are accomplished for each day within budgeted hours and other resource constraints. This is a working leader position.
Must be willing to relocate with company-provided travel accommodations for the duration of the job.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the set-up and preparation of training lanes and training sites
- Collects refuse and salvageable materials, marries/unmarries MILES equipment to MILES harness
- Assists in RSOI validation and Reverse RSOI to account for Tracker Harness and other MILES equipment issued
- Assists in installing and deinstall vehicle instrumentation
- Troubleshoots trackers and MILES equipment and reports any defaults to FSR and/or Property Specialist
- Responsible for set-up and teardown of I&C towers, equipment, and AAR sites
Requirements:
- Pass a background check
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Ability to safely lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms
Education: N/A
Experience:
- Experience on an XCTC rotation as part of the Logistics Team (Preferred)
- Military experience as a Non-Commissioned Officer (Preferred)
- At a minimum, experience as a leader working in a warehouse or supply organization providing logistics support (Required)
