Peebles Golf Cars has been an authorized Club Car distributor for over 40 years in Central and Southeast Virginia. Business is growing and we are looking to add to our team. We are currently hiring for a Lot Attendant/Driver/Detailer for our Charlottesville location near Zion Crossroads.
The successful candidate will have general experience in a number of areas including, but not limited to lot organization & detail, pulling a trailer, customer service and some mechanical ability. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and managing a large fleet of golf cars and company vehicles.
Requirements and Job Duties:
- Positive "Can Do" attitude
- Maintaining the daily appearance and organization of the lot to include keeping all carts charged, cleaned and removal of any trash or debris.
- Delivery of sale and service cars including ability to safely maneuver up to a 26-foot trailer. (Experience pulling 40-foot trailer a plus)
- Maintaining company vehicles and trailers.
- Maintaining the organizational flow of the parts department and bays.
- Washing and detailing of sale and rental cars.
- Helping customers load and unload service and sale cars.
- Accepting customer cars for service (ie. work order, tagging cars, moving to service line)
- Testing, troubleshooting and repair of chargers.
- Properly installing batteries and wheels/tires.
- Spot cleaning and keeping up appearance of facility to include minor landscaping.
- Capable of performing simple mechanical tasks.
- Properly and neatly fill out and complete company work orders as assigned.
- Unloading of parts from delivery trucks.
- Proper and safe use of the forklift.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have own tools and transportation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have valid Driver’s License.
Typical Hours:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay:
$14 - $19 per hour.
Pay based on relative experience.
