Lube Technician Job at Stephen Wade Auto Center
Stephen Wade is currently looking for experienced Lube Technicians to join our service department. Upon experience with our company and proven performance employees can become auto tech apprentices and the company pays for their training and certifications. The position comes with benefits that start on the first day of the month after completing 60 days.
As a lube technician, you will be eligible for base pay and some commission on top of your hourly wage. You will have steady employment with the opportunity to learn and complete certifications that are recognized nationwide. If you pursue certifications, you will have the opportunity to grow within the company as part of our service department.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, including some Saturdays.
Job Type: Full-time
Base pay plus up-sale commission
Responsibilities:
Adhere to manufacturer specifications to maintain vehicle systems and ensure customer satisfaction
Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
Qualifications:
Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
High school diploma or GED is required
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
