Description

Position Purpose

Assist the upper bay technician, by performing work on vehicles, and executing the highest level of customer service. This position reports to the manager.

Responsibilities/ Duties/ Functions/Tasks:

Willingness to learn and perform Toot'n Totum’s 17 point check

Understand and exhibit policies and procedures

Complete all vehicle inspections in accordance with established procedures

Communicate with other Team Members regarding vehicle information to be entered on the Guest's invoice

Conduct final safety check for the vehicle

Maintain clean and organized work area in order to meet and or exceed safety requirements

Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times

Discard residual waste or hazardous materials using proper disposal methods established

Maintain technical competence by attending all classes and shop meetings as requested

Inspect vehicle for fluid leaks and informs and communicates the information to other Team Members

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Special Position Requirements:

Must be able to work weekends and holidays

Vehicle knowledge beyond preventative maintenance

Ability to obtain Motor Vehicle Inspector License Personal Requirements

Qualifications

Willingness to complete or completion of AOCA Certified Technicians Course

Written and oral communication skills

Ability to provide appropriate technical information to Guests Exceptional Guest service and Guest relations skills

Ability to work in a professional environment

Experience:

• Automotive repair: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
