We are seeking a Lumber Sales Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for providing customer service to local homeowners and contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
- Superior product knowledge.
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Increasing in store sales.
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
- Monitoring stock and Inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lumber warehouse or related industry experience
- Retail sales experience.
- The ability to read, write, and perform basic math. Operate a computer. (QuickBooks)
- Ability to handle physical workload. (Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lift 80lbs+)
- Strong work ethic. Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
MUST HAVE PRIOR KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING MATERIALS INDUSTRY
