Origin is America’s next big brand. We make everything from dirt-to-shirt right here in our Maine and North Carolina-based factories. Workwear, Huntwear, Fightwear and Lifewear are the core of our business, and we are the first brand to manufacture footwear in Franklin County, Maine in the last 30 years. We pride ourselves in making heirloom quality, durable goods right here in America.

Origin was first launched in 2011. In 2013, our founder, Pete Roberts, with the help of friends and family, cleared a forest and built a small timber-frame factory, with the sole purpose to make the world’s BEST Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gear. Since then, we have grown, now headquartered in the heart of downtown Farmington, Maine and Asheboro, North Carolina, and expanding our product offerings to include apparel, denim jeans, outerwear, footwear, and JOCKO FUEL nutritional supplements. MACHINE OPERATOR | APPAREL PRODUCTION ROLE OVERVIEW

Origin is seeking experienced and entry-level machine operators to help support our growing apparel production demands! Our operators are trained to utilize a number of machines and tools, helping craft Origin's heirloom-quality product all while breathing life straight back into the soul of American manufacturing.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Operate machines to support Origin's apparel production processes, feeding ram material into parts or semi-automated machine parts.
• Adhere to Origin's standard production processes and safety standards.
• Support team in achieving quality standards and targets for the team you are assigned.
• Set up, inspect, and test machinery to ensure proper function, including ensuring machines are properly oiled/greased, threaded, clean, and needles/filters are changed as required.
• Check stock levels, ensuring appropriate levels of products and raw materials required for workflow.

• Inspect output of machines to prevent and troubleshoot and production errors which may occur.
• Report defective products or machinery, maintaining appropriate documentation and logs.

THE DETAILS:

• Monday through Friday
• 7 AM - 3:30 PM with periods of OT required to meet various production demands.
• Pay starts at $15/hr for entry-level operators, with 3, 6, and 12 month performance based wage increases.
