Summary of Machine Operator: Sets up and operates both mechanical and hydraulic power presses to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, and forgings by performing the following duties.

Summary of Machine Operator: Sets up and operates both mechanical and hydraulic power presses to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, and forgings by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities of Machine Operator:
- Performs machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc.
- Program and operate CNC Press Brake.
- Responsible for numerous machining techniques including reaming, grinding, sanding, etc.
- Tool setting, loading, and unloading fixtures.
- Inspection parts using precision measurement instruments (Mics, Calipers, Bore Gauges, etc.)
- Preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Qualifications of Machine Operator:
- Lift up to 50-100 lbs. Routinely.
- High School diploma or GED
- Must have Press Brake Experience (1-2 years minimum experience) (Amada experience preferred).
- Ability to read measuring equipment (dial calipers, bar micrometer, squares, and protractors).
