Machine Set-up Operator Job at IMPACT EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS
Summary: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift.
Set up induction machines to run consistently and error free to meet quality standards. The Machine Setup employee will use mechanical skills, setup cards and obtained knowledge to ensure the machines run at 100% efficiency to produce high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Work productively, efficiently and timely to meet customer needs.
- Ensure all quality requirements are met and machine set-up is capable of running without getting a first inspection shut down.
- Ensure all machines are running at or above 100% efficiency.
- Work with instruct operators to observe machine operation with awareness of machine malfunction and/or operator error. Follow established standards, guidelines or procedures to report issues.
- Maintain and care for equipment and tooling within specified guidelines.
- Effectively communicate and cooperate with team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation including set up cards and machine logs.
- Actively participate in and maintain the company's safety and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanical Skills
- General electrical and hydraulic knowledge
- Able to operate independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Demonstrate steady, methodical, error-free work output
