River Park Senior Living (assisted living) is looking for a Maintenance Assistant with focus on janitorial to provide for the upkeep of common areas, repairs and prep work for vacant residential rooms in order to ensure a clean and sanitary living environment for our residents. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated; detail orientated and able to work in a fast paced environment. Positive customer service attitude is a must. Previous maintenance, janitorial and/or housekeeping experience in senior living or a hospitality setting a plus. This is a full-time position to work in conjunction with the Maintenance Director to maintain a safe, clean and attractive living environment in a cozy community. Primary duties are janitorial, scheduled maintenance and tasks as assigned. The maintenance department is responsible for all aspects of community maintenance; plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and general repairs as well as supplies. Maintenance Assistant duties may also include assistance in preparing vacant apartments for occupancy, painting, carpet care and general repairs of all common areas and grounds. Must have a valid drivers license as serves as back-up driver of community vehicles. Must have strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.

Dementia Care training is included in our orientation training. Accrue paid vacation, affordable medical insurance. Successful candidate must pass a background check. You may also apply in person 9 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday.

*Hiring Bonus paid in two payments $250 for 90 days and 6 month anniversary applied to pay period on each date.
