Company Intro: Ocean Health Initiatives, Inc. (OHI) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing quality, accessible and comprehensive primary health care to the residents of Ocean and Monmouth County; regardless of economic status.

Our Health Center Locations: Brick, Freehold, Lakewood, Little Egg Harbor, Manahawkin, Manchester and Toms River; with our school-based Wellness Programs located within the Clifton Ave Grade School, Lakewood; and Lakewood High School.

OHI services include family and internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, nutrition, OB/GYN women’s health, dental, family planning, specialty care, pharmacies, PrEP, and a STI clinic.

Hours: Full-time hours are M-F 8:00am- 4:30pm with rotating evening/Saturday shifts (subject to seasonal changes and business/site needs)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director of Facilities this position performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures for all the practice sites and the OHI fleet of vehicles including the Mobile Medical Units.

Responsibilities

• Changes light bulbs as needed at all practice sites.
• Assists with maintenance of equipment and vehicles.
• Preps walls for painting and completes paint jobs as needed at all practice sites.
• Completes day-to-day preventative maintenance for all practice sites.
• Moves office furniture when requested at all sites.
• Hangs artwork, certifications as needed at all sites.
• Assists with relocation of files, boxes etc. at all sites.
• Picks up and delivers necessary supplies as needed.
• Monitors, responds to and documents actions taken on maintenance tickets submitted in the Monday.com system.
• Responsible to help Security with snow removal at all sites.
• Performs preventive maintenance of building systems and equipment as required.
• When needed assists with housekeeping activities at all sites.
• Supports on-site and off-site operations by delivering and setting up tents, heaters, tables, chairs, crowd control equipment, etc. as required.
• Completes all mandatory in-services and attends are required meetings.
• Checks emails on a daily basis.
• Adheres to Corporate Compliance policies.
• Maintains a passing monthly scorecard threshold at 80%.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Licensure

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to two years’ experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Clean Driver’s Record is required.
