Your role at Clorox:
Maintenance Coordinator (AOE) is responsible to lead the Maintenance Systems (Area of Excellence) AOE within our plant to bolster maintenance performance at the Burt's Bees plant in Morrisville, NC.
In this role, you will:
- Communicate safety and sustainability.
- Coach, teach, and lead implementation, usage, and sustainment of the tools of the Maintenance Systems. Lubrication systems/processes, BDE’s, knowledge transfer, SAP usage & Stores Functions.
- Organize maintenance systems to provide ease of access and functionality (i.e... Prints, SOP’s, JA’s, OEM Tech Manuals, etc..).
- Involve Technicians in daily maintenance of their equipment.
- Provide understanding of what a CIL (Clean Inspect, and Lubricate) is, why we do them and how a CIL is tied to base condition.
- Provide support and backup for maintenance systems (SAP, Purchasing, Vendor Management, etc.).
- Improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness. Improve all aspects of maintenance including spare parts, SAP, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, maintenance tools, work order system, planned and scheduled maintenance, and equipment
- Lead in training to improve the skills of everyone involved. Equates to maintenance training, operations training, leadership training, training about root cause analysis of the major losses, reliability training, etc.
- Work with Maintenance associates to build robust, sustainable communication systems such as tier 1, RCA, cannibalism forms and others.
- Monitor critical metrics for the maintenance department and develop delivery tools.
- Maintain excellent team relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.
What we look for:
- Maintenance experience in a technical discipline is desired
- Strong background working with computer databases
- Demonstrated ability to lead a rapid focused improvement
- Experience and understanding of OSHA standards is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to multitask is required.
- Experience and understanding of Environmental (EPA, county permits, regulatory) standards is highly preferred
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Demonstrate the ability to use MS Office tools create, update, and share data with groups in the plant.
- Demonstrated experience in loss analysis
- Presentation skills is desired.
Starting Base Pay: $26.91 per hour; Shift Differential: No (1st shift)
