The Maintenance Crew Member reports to the Director of Facilities and Maintenance and will be responsible for supporting the core business and the day-to-day operations of our dynamic, ever-evolving facilities with the management of the building and surrounding grounds. This person will help to provide our team with a safe and functional environment that will ultimately lead to excellent products and help us carry out our overall mission to make the best beverages in the world and serve them in the most friendly and memorable environment possible. This position is PART-TIME (between 20-30 hours per week) and based in Deerfield, MA but may include travel to other Tree House locations on occasion, including to Charlton, MA for trainings.

As a Maintenance Crew Member, you will be responsible for the following:

• Performing preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Maintaining a log of equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshooting HVAC issues, escalating to third party vendors as necessary
• Assist as needed on the day-to-day general maintenance of the building including interior/exterior of building, changing light bulbs, paint touch-ups, light plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs, etc.
• Maintaining stock levels of critical equipment and chemicals
• Coordinate any major repairs and maintenance with vendors. This includes being the liaison between Tree House management and the vendors, scheduling, coordinating and managing the vendors while on site and providing feedback to the Tree House team
• Any and all other tasks that may be required to maintain the building and surrounding property to our standards of excellence

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience
• Experience with HVAC equipment in a commercial setting strongly preferred
• You are driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
• A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to work comfortably outdoors in all seasons
• Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
• Must have good communication skills
• An innate helpful nature and a desire to be a strong, reliable team player with a willingness to go the extra mile
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
• Must be punctual and responsible with one’s time
• Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to keeping the grounds clean
• You are not afraid to speak your mind
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
