Maintenance/Houseman Job at Rockport Inn & Suites
This position will report directly to the General Manager and Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be well-rounded with a background in HVAC, plumbing, general maintenance and upkeep. The candidate must be sharp, energetic and detailed oriented.
Principle Duties-
6 months to 3 years experience as general maintenance in a hotel or apartment environment a plus. HVAC certification a plus. Produce accurate logs, charts and preventive maintenance forms for all HVAC related equipment/tasks. Trouble shooting electrical problems and repair them in a timely fashion. General repairs experience with drywall, carpet and tile. Ability to create and implement preventive maintenance programs. Analytical approach to problem solving. Ability to work, communicate and maintain positive guest and colleague relations. Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking. Resolve work orders in a timely manner. Protect company assets by properly securing tools, equipment and supplies. Perform minor repairs and/or replacements of room furniture, fixtures, and equipment, including TV's, light fixtures, etc. Perform routine maintenance throughout the property, to include painting, caulking, carpet/floor cleaning and trash removal.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
