Amentum is looking for a maintenance lead for 6PM-6AM rotational schedule (every other weekend off).

This is a working lead position. We are looking for someone to quickly become subject matter expert on equipment and train/mentor their team to become best in class maintenance technicians.

Duties:

• Lead and Manage the Maintenance Team, including but not limited to Electricians, Plumbers, Facility Operators, and Mechanics
• Plan, organize, resource and coordinate the execution of work schedules for allocated team/teams
• Work order documentation, scheduling and planning as needed.
• Drive maintenance Best Practices: Innovate, document, improve work methods, standardize, provide a safe work environment and require safe work practices, train, commission equipment, collect, measure, and analyze key performance indicators to improve processes.
• Establish with the Operations Manager to ensure priority maintenance tasks to operational needs to meet established goals
• Develop and implement systems that contribute to quality improvements in the collection of maintenance information enabling strategic and forward-looking plans and reviews
• Identify, propose and contribute to the development of process improvements relevant to assigned system and equipment
• Build and maintain close and direct Points of Contact to ensure customer requirements remain well understood and satisfied
• Ensure compliance with all sites environmental health and safety requirements. Ensure team compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 4 years as a maintenance technician (electrical or mechanical) in an industrial/manufacturing location
• Experience mentoring lower level technicians
• Experience using a CMMS work order system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
