Maintenance Manager Job at Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Facilities Manager is a qualified individual responsible for the overall maintenance of the agencies facilities. This individual is familiar with general maintenance repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry and is an active member of the Safety Committee.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education/Experience
Minimum four (4) years’ experience in housing maintenance repairs. Required Certification/Registration. Basic Life Support: CPR Annually, First Aid (every 3 years), TB Annually; Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License
Specific Competencies- Refer to attached Performance Standards/Indicators. Participates and maintains competencies/skills required for the positions
Equipment Used -Agency assigned computer, fax machine, Xerox machine, cellular phone, maintenance/repair tools, agency assigned van
Working Environment -Indoor – Modern, well-lighted, air-conditioned work areas; Outdoor – Natural lighted areas, exposure to sun, heat and moisture. Exposure to infectious disease is a minimal risk.
Physical Requirements
1. See attached “Expected Physical Activities”.
2. Frequent reading of printed materials is essential;
3. Listening skills necessary to effectively respond to supervisor, staff, vendors and clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
