_ What You'll Do_
_

  • Lead and manage the Maintenance department of 100+ employees ensuring all production metrics are safely achieved
  • Partner with operational leaders to develop standards and strategies that reduce the safety, regulatory and financial risks
  • Drive continuous improvement; employee productivity, uptime improvements, lead time reductions
  • Anticipates maintenance expenditures and provides estimates to forecast and meet budgetary requirements
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend cost saving opportunities by identifying process, quality and safety related improvement projects
  • Develop and oversee training plan for all operational roles while providing succession plans at all levels of the organization
  • Facilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes
  • Assist in the development of the use of predictive based technologies and preventative work orders to maximize equipment reliability. Implements and establishes priorities for predictive maintenance
  • Develop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standards
  • Ability to work with the other Managers as a part of the Steel SC Leadership Team

What You'll Need_
_

  • Minimum 10 years of related facility and heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • Minimum 10 years of managing a maintenance department of 20 or more
  • Minimum 5 years successful operational leadership experience preferred
  • Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills
  • Exceptional leadership and team building skills

Your Education_

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
