Maintenance Mechanic / Food Manufacturing / 2 Positions Job at Experis
Maintenance Mechanic - 6PM - 6AM (4 Days On 3 Days off). I am setting up Interviews for qualified candidates with the hiring manager immediately. These positions report to the maintenance supervisors.
Job Overview:
Maintenance mechanics support operations by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting equipment when problems happen, and repairing machines when broken down. They perform troubleshooting and repairs for all modern automated equipment. This is a position that has upward mobility and has the ability to grow into more advanced roles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical and automated equipment.
- Answer calls for maintenance and be prepared to make any repairs needed.
- Should be accessible and readily available on the plant floor as much as possible to assist all departments as needed.
- Complete preventative and predictive maintenance tasks, both while running and during scheduled shutdowns.
- Maintain a safe working environment both in the maintenance shop and on the floor.
- Must be food safety minded with attention to details and vigilant when working on equipment or anywhere near the product.
- Provide and maintain your own hand tools, including, but not limited to wrench sets, miscellaneous pliers, socket sets, hammers, punches, etc.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical ability.
- Strong understanding of basic tools.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for hours at a time, and in hot environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
