The Maintenance Planner at GTP is responsible for planning preventative and predictive maintenance, repair of equipment, and new equipment installations to ensure minimal production downtime related to work orders and planned maintenance, while assuring safety of employees and the quality of repairs and installations. The Maintenance Planner will interact with all functions of the production process to support company objectives, to provide "best-in-class" maintenance service and quality, to maximize product throughput and profitability while minimizing maintenance costs and downtime.

Responsibilities Would Include:

  • Produce a weekly maintenance work schedule, as well as projected work schedule, forecasting workforce and material needs for equipment maintenance.
  • Work with maintenance and production supervisors to prioritize projects to ensure minimal production downtime related to work orders and planned maintenance, while assuring safety and quality.
  • Ensure parts and tools are available for maintenance and repair activities, and proactively work with purchasing to ensure that critical tools and supplies are available as needed.
  • Manage an “If Down, Do” list for the craftspeople to work with in the event of unplanned & unforeseen downtime. Create and maintain SAP PM master data for accuracy, including collaboration with engineers and specialists to ensure accurate Equipment Masters, routes, and Bill-of-Materials
  • Review completed work orders for completeness and accuracy and updates to the SAP PM system.
  • Develop and publicize metrics such MTBF, MTTR, OEE and UPTIME.
  • Strive to reach the maintenance financial performance goals to assure that production efficiencies and quality product is provided at the least possible cost, making recommendations for maintenance and repair efficiencies, cost savings, and equipment uptime improvements.
  • May be asked to perform other duties as required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Minimum High School Diploma: Associate Degree in a technical discipline preferred; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent a positive
  • SAP, ERP experience is desirable, Mbyte experience a plus.
  • 3-5 years of related maintenance experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Effective written & verbal communication skills as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skill.
  • Use of logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.
  • Proficient in the reading of blueprints, technical manuals, charts & graphs.
  • Good customer service skills and flexibility to handle a wide array of activities.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,436.57 - $75,000.00 per year
