Claylick is a healthy, growing, family-owned, metal fabrication company with a lot of ongoing improvement projects and maintenance requirements.
Routine Maintenance is the responsibility of the machine operators. This job includes machine improvements, upgrades, rebuilds, and other more extensive machine maintenance projects.
This job also includes improvement projects for the production floor, such as building support equipment for our welding & fabrication team, safety-related improvement projects, ergonomic worker-benefit projects, and business expansion related projects.
This position answers directly to the owner of the company and will involve working with him as a team as well as operating solo on specific projects and maintenance activities.
In general, this position is a 7:30 - 5:00 position. However, preference will be given to candidates who are flexible to occasionally work outside of normal business hours on a project that requires the shut-down of the plant. This position does not require being on call after hours.
We are specifically looking for someone with a broad range of experience with mechanical systems - electrical, air, plumbing, control wiring, etc. - who also has experience with improvement projects in a plant-type environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
