Green Team of San Jose, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in San Jose, CA!
The schedule will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, and occasional night time hours. The starting pay will be around $80k, depending on experience. The pay range for this job category is $80k-85k.
Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Source and order parts as requested by technicians and as generated by requisitions.
• Maintain parts room and parts stocking areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Maintain appropriate stocking levels of parts and supplies as required for daily maintenance services and repairs.
• Perform regularly scheduled inventory spot checks as well as perform annual inventory of entire stock.
• Pick up and deliver parts as needed to/from vendors for shelf stock and parts repairs.
• Work with technicians to identify parts and kits needed for specific repairs.
• Work and communicate with vendors to expedite shipping for high priority parts, receive updates on back orders and eta’s, and coordinate returns and warranty exchanges for incorrect, core, and failed parts.
• Maintain communication with management and office staff regarding parts back orders, lead times, and eta’s on high priority parts/requests.
• Maintain and update credentials for online parts and repair resources.
• Purchase and update licenses on diagnostic computers and tools.
• Purchase tools needed in the shop and send tools out for repair and calibration as needed.
• Provide help and support as needed to maintain a clean and orderly maintenance shop and facility.

Qualification and Experience requirements:

• Proficiency in computer software including word processing, spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to correspond with team members and vendors.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in a warehouse and/or repair shop environment.
• Ability to follow and maintain safety regulations and requirement.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
