Position Overview:


We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time 3rd shift (10p-6a) Maintenance Supervisor at our Arlington, TX facility.


Specific Job Duties:

  • Supervise Machine Repair, Utility, Tool Crib, Mold Techs, Process Techs, and Janitor on respective shifts.
  • Coordinate company fleet vehicle and long-term car rental as needed.
  • Coordinate and supervise on-site contractors.
  • Nightly security checks of the facility.
  • Conduct skilled trade testing as needed.
  • Prioritize work order requests.
  • Supervise bargaining unit employees to perform maintenance and electrical repairs safely and efficiently as well as work orders, PMs, projects, etc.
  • Drive world-class preventative and predictive maintenance to insure maximum equipment uptime and availability for manufacturing operations.
  • Responsible for ensuring employees ‘compliance with LOT

Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.
  • Maintain proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned tasks.
  • To support the company to meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of IAC.
  • Complete LPAs on time; weekly
  • Complete Safe Audit on time; weekly
  • Maintain proper etiquette when using company radios, PA, emails, text, and phones, for business use only.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Training Requirements

  • This position will be required to travel to other facilities or training locations as well as on-site training as needed.

Experience Requirements:

  • Good computer including typing and the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Working knowledge of Quality procedures
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and follow direction
  • Ideal candidate will possess at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive.
  • Successful candidates will also possess strong judgment /decision-making skills, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong analytic problem-solving skills and hydraulics knowledge
  • Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree or related experience managing teams of people in a quality manufacturing environment.

PPE Requirements

  • This position requires eye protection and hearing protection and any PPE specific to the task being performed.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand on feet and/or sit 8-12 hours a day and lift to 40lbs on an occasional basis and 15 lbs regularly. Must be able to perform overhead work as well as work below the waist.
