Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking full-time Maintenance Team Lead. In addition to performing assigned facilities & grounds maintenance tasks throughout the KBH system this position is will be the point of contact primarily during normal business hours for urgent or emerging Facilities needs and will coordinate with other Facilities staff or outside contractors to make sure these needs are addressed.

Responsibilities will include:

· Monitor parking lots as required and redirects traffic as needed.

· Inspects agency apartment units and facilities as directed in order to ensure safety and cleanliness of facilities.

· Performs yard work (at various Agency sites), including lawn care, pruning, planting, mulch beds and trimming.

· Repairs and paints interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and floors.

· Performs other maintenance duties as assigned including but not restricted to the following:

• Inspection & repair of furniture, plumbing, & equipment as needed.
• Assisting with installation of flooring (VCT, carpet, and linoleum), removing and disposing of all old flooring material.
• Assisting with assigned building projects as directed.
• Moving furniture, supplies, and equipment (at various Agency sites) as directed.

The Maintenance Team will also be the primary contact for urgent or emergent grounds or facilities needs during normal business hours, will coordinate with either Facilities staff or outside contractors to ensure that these needs are addressed, and may have call responsibilities and need to address critical facilities needs outside of normal business hours as determined by call triage protocols.

Requirements – High school diploma, or equivalent. Maintenance/facilities experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
