Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 3rd Shift 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Starting Hourly Rate: $31.00 per hour

With direct report to our Production Manager, you become part of the team, which together works focused on ensuring that the capacity utilization of the production equipment is optimal and that the process runs flawlessly. You will be part of a team of 20 colleagues and growing. In the team, we value well-being, and you will therefore become part of a positive working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete regularly scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PMs) of production machinery.
• Troubleshoot, repair and replacement of electrical and automation parts.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Build product subassemblies or final assemblies (not expected to be an operator but will need to know how to run our equipment).
• Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Light building maintenance.

PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
The right individual for these positions will need:

• Team player that can work well with others.
• The ability to learn.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
• Attention to detail, to fully complete maintenance records.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working.
• Ability to work overtime when needed. This should not be often.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.

We are a small team and need to be quite flexible in our responsibilities. The above qualifications are necessary. While we would like to hire an individual with all the below skills and qualifications, we only expect to find someone with a small subset of the below.

• Some industrial automation related education.
• Some industrial automation related experience.
• Calibration experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels.
• Ability to get online with a PLC. (We use Omron PLCs).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Ability to do light machining.
• Ability to travel internationally (Denmark).
