Maintenance Technician ~ Full-Time~ 1st Shift!! Job at Holland Home
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Support person for 1st shift on our Breton Campus.

Holland Home has two beautiful residential campuses and a hospice residence that offers in-patient end of life care all within the greater Grand Rapids area. Our community services are provided through Faith Hospice, Atrio Home Care, Reliance Community Care Partners, Care Resources, and Tandem365. Employing over 1,500 and attending to more than 4000 residents and patients daily, Holland Home follows a strong Christian mission of serving with love and compassion while demonstrating a commitment to excellence for over 130 years in the greater Grand Rapids community.
Duties: Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs to resident homes and other buildings throughout Holland Home. Assumes responsibility for the general maintenance of all systems within the facility including air handling, preventive, water systems, general plumbing, cleaning, general electrical etc. Performs daily rounds, performs maintenance on a written work order system, completes preventive maintenance requests and identifies and repairs deficiencies. Provides a safe environment for resident and staff assuring entryways and walkways are free of debris, snow, ice, assisting with snow removal as needed, etc.
Hours: 7a - 3:30p Mon - Fri with some on call responsibility
The job requires proof of a valid Michigan driver's license and vehicle liability insurance and a general high school diploma or equivalent. Prior maintenance experience in a 24/7 care environment is highly valued. Must have technical skills to provide basic maintenance services. Because of the way that Holland Home of GR is licensed and regulated by the State of MI we must be able to hire people who will pass a background check, no felonies, assault, larceny, retail fraud and drug screen.
