Maintenance Tech III

As a Maintenance Tech III, you are the main point of contact for repairing, replacing, and installing ventilation and air conditioning systems. You are responsible for identifying maintenance risks and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. You are one of the senior techs within the community and will assist with training eager Maintenance Tech I and II’s. You will assist with a variety of general building and equipment repairs.

Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Job Description

The Maintenance Tech III performs building and equipment repairs. This includes plumbing clogged drains, wax rings, fill valves, faucets, garbage disposals, water heaters, camera snakes, gas leaks, soldering copper pipes, PVC repairs, etc. Along with electrical maintenance for ballast, switches, plugs, cut-in boxes, voltage meter, ceiling fans, breaker resets, running new electrical circuits, generator transfer switches, etc. As well as some carpentry and appliance repairs.

What you will bring

Our ideal candidate will be reliable and follow safety procedures and duties assigned by a supervisor.

  • Must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and testing various electrical controllers, boilers, HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment, lighting, and low voltage systems.
  • Must have Universal Refrigeration Certification or be enrolled in a course.
  • Preferred 3+ years of increasing responsibilities and experience in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and plant operations equipment in a complex commercial, industrial, or healthcare setting.
