Maintenance Worker Job at Workforce Enterprises
Whiplash, City of Industry location is currently seeking a Janitor, you will play an important part of with our warehouse team.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
- Under general supervision, the janitorial crew is responsible for providing a clean and sanitary surrounding for the employees and public
- Promotes sanitary conditions that prevent the spread of infection and odor
- Must be able to work efficiently, self- motivated, and take direction well
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
- Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment;
- Responsible for the disposal of trash;
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them;
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms;
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Perform other related work as required.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS: Ability to repetitively lift heavy equipment of 20 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; positive attitude when working others; knowledge of employment and safety procedures.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
