Screening Test Technician

Part-time position

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Screening Test Technician will greet and meet the referrals at a designated location. This person will perform both observed and monitored urine collections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Includes but not limited to the following:1. Travel to designated location for purpose of collecting urine. 2. Ensure that all client paperwork is filled out correctly and all necessary information has been captured at the time of the collection 3. Adhering to confidentiality expectations at all times while representing MATS. 4. Responsible for monitoring inventory to ensure that they have adequate supplies always. 5. Perform collections for urine drug screening either monitored, observed or directly observed. 6. Other duties as assigned.

DUTIES: 1. Meet and greet the public, be personable and help people be at ease. 2. Maintain professional demeanor at all times. 3. Ability to ensure accurate transcription of information onto CoC (lab slip). 4. Neat legible handwriting to ensure correct information can be viewed by lab and staff.

5. Enforce rules for testing as posted at each test site. 6. Collect urine sample and package sample for lab ensuring all steps are followed and all information is complete and accurate. 7. Ability to complete all other duties as assigned. 8. Use of email including attaching downloaded photos and files. 9. Basic word processing (Word, Google Docs, Open Office) including creating, updating and editing daily referral lists from inbound emails. 10. Navigating Google Drive shared folders and sub folders. 11. Answering inbound calls, and placing outbound calls. 12. Using Zoom as needed for training or staff meetings. 13. Use a cell phone camera to upload photos to Google Drive. 14. Downloading photos and files from Google Drive to attach to email.

SKILLS NEEDED: 1. Attention to detail. 2. Ability to be personable with the public. 3. Mature assertive manner to ensure testing rules are followed. 4. Knowledgeable on universal precautions 5. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times including CoC and lists from DHHS with client’s names. 6. Pass background check.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES. 1. Effective communication skills in working with the public 2. Acts responsibly and follows professional code of conduct at all time while on duty. 3. Multitasking while maintaining attention to detail. Work in a highly organized and efficient manner. 4.High level of reliability, dedication and initiative.5. Attention to detail is critical.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
