Planned Companies’ client properties are kept clean, secure, and welcoming with a variety of services and equipment. To ensure our cleaning, security, and concierge teams provide the best service we are hiring a site-dedicated Facility Maintenance Manager for a Luxury Condominium and Apartment high-rise near North Bergen and Guttenberg.

Schedule
As the Supervisor for the property, we need you on-site Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 am. Of course, as our dedicated representative to this one location, you would also need to be on call 24X7 for emergencies.

Where
The complex is in Guttenberg, NJ right next to North Bergen, NJ. You will be dedicated to this one site, leading, and supporting teams of Concierge, Janitors, and Security Guards.

Responsibilities:
What we need you to do
  • Develop a solid understanding of the client site, including specific needs, challenges, and team schedules.
  • Complete site tours regularly and meet with the management consistently.
  • Interview, hire, and train new associates based on job requirements for concierge/doorman.
  • Ensure job-specific on-the-job training is conducted as per OSHA requirements.
  • Monitor performance and any applicable corrective action across all your sites.
  • Order appropriate uniforms and appropriate supplies & equipment for each team/location.
  • Manage all budgets for each site and across your area with a disciplined approach.
  • Ensure that all necessary logbooks, timesheets, and tracking are placed at each site – will also be responsible for bi-weekly payroll submission.
  • Maintain the highest level of Customer Focus and retention, ensuring consistent satisfaction, and seamless business transitions.
  • Accessible to clients, our management team, and associates always including responding to emergencies.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and all applicable federal/state laws.
Qualifications:
What you need to do the job
  • 2-4 years in field maintenance supervisory or facilities management including residential, retail, or hospitality.
  • Proven ability to manage associates in multiple functions including recruitment, training, and disciplining
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication including English; second language is a plus.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, courteous and professional.
  • Able to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office.
