The Opportunity on IQVIA’s PXS Consulting Team
We are seeking a Strategy Consulting Manager to join our team and immediately have an impact in delivery of our projects and growth of our service offerings. This is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced manager or healthcare consultant to join and help shape a fast-growing team while improving how patients engage with pharma companies. Our team is a critical part of our broader patient centered solution portfolio that leads the industry in the breadth and depth of clinical outcomes assessment (COA) and patient reported outcome (PRO) knowledge. The PXS team works closely with a diverse group of colleagues with scientific, behavioral, and technology expertise to drive innovation in the areas of study retention, endpoint compliance, and patient experience to advance the strategic priorities of life science companies.

A successful PXS Manager will have the following impact:

• Help transform the way our customers view patient engagement in the study setting
• Develop strategies, roadmaps, and frameworks to improve how IQVIA and our customers engage with patients to improve adherence, compliance, and retention within studies
• Deliver high-quality strategic guidance on the application of behavioral science and technology to improve patient workflows and experiences across their journey
• Participate in projects or lead qualitative research studies by creating patient discussion guides, conducting interviews / focus groups and analyzing results
• Develop and grow our client relationships and expand our clients’ view of IQVIA as a strategic thought partner
• Contribute to the growth and expansion of PXS service offerings and support business development and proposals.
• Lead and mentor junior team members

What the successful candidate brings to IQVIA:

• 5+ years’ experience in consulting / managerial role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare and/or related industry; experience within pharma R&D and/or RWE/D highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in (public health, psychology, health economics, healthcare technology, engineering, or similar); advanced degree highly preferred
• Passion to partner with patients throughout the drug development process to improve experience and outcomes Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills and the ability to learn quickly, adapt and apply new knowledge
• Demonstrated success and track record in managerial and / or consulting role
• Experience working and leading sizable, multi-disciplinary teams
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, workshop facilitation, business and report writing
• Strong capability in juggling priorities so that deadlines are met while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries
• A willingness and ability to travel (~20%)
