ob Summary:

The Manager/Senior Planner is responsible for all aspects of demand planning, inventory management, assortment analysis and reporting. This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner to leverage outstanding analytical and quantitative skills as well as strength in communication and business knowledge in a dynamic multi-channel environment.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Leads wholesale monthly re-forecast in partnership with global wholesale sales team for entire assortment (replenishment, new, discontinued, and placeholders) over a rolling 9–18-month period
  • Develops strong relationships with merchandising, wholesale, product development and ecommerce teams to help improve forecast accuracy, communicate new line introductions, and product phase out decisions
  • Oversees product life cycle management process (XPlant/ABC Codes) which serves as the main communication method for inventory planning/procurement
  • Supports ecom demand forecast and inventory management
  • Compiles monthly ecom orders (replenishment and new products)
  • Tracks & Receives US ecom inventory PO’s; provides DC allocation and transportation method
  • Analyzes and recommends optimal merchandise assortment plans for all sales channels: ecom, wholesale, and 3rd party ecommerce sales
  • Supports process for product lifecycle strategy by collection in close partnership with marketing product development
  • Designs and shares out product level reporting for various sales channels on a weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence to recommend and implement tactical actions to deliver the plans
  • Participates in product development as appropriate to supplement available merchandise lines
  • Monitors and evaluates the forecasted ecom sales and inventories to collaborate with marketing/site teams around Promotion and Demotion of SKUS
  • Analyzes inventory productivity and recommends adjustments including a multi-channel markdown and promotional strategy and profitable exit strategies for discontinued and dead stock



Requirements:


  • BA or BS degree

  • 4+ years’ experience in wholesale/retail planning with ecom experience

  • Experience in assortment/product lifecycle management

  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills, including elements of markup, margin planning, open to buy, inventory productivity measures (WOS, T/O, GMROI)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills

  • Detail oriented, multi-tasker, highly organized, flexible, and proactive

  • Strategic thinker able to foresee future business opportunities and develop strategic process

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate and build relationships across different departments & levels of the company

  • Knowledge of Just Enough, SAP, Looker, Google Analytics a plus
