Job Description
As a managing editor/community leader at Endeavor Business Media, you will be responsible for managing all content on the brand website. This includes managing/overseeing the contract editor associated to the brand as well as growing and maintaining the free contributing editor network. You will need to focus on building and maintaining a community associated to the brand. You will work closely with management, sales, and central service teams to grow the brand with a goal to increase volume of content, web traffic, registered users, and community members.
Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the brand, including the website, e-newsletters, digital issue, sponsors, and social media platforms.
• Manage implementation and delivery of all editorial special projects and initiatives.
• Build a community for Supply Chain Connect from the ground up
• Engage with the community on a daily/weekly basis
• Conduct quarterly roundtable discussions with sponsors to discuss content direction for the following quarter
• Conduct quarterly meetings with community members to discuss content topics for the following quarter
• Develop and maintain the contributing writer pool by soliciting, editing, and posting editorial content
• Work closely with production artist for posting content and ensuring we are covering all areas of the site.
• Gather and distribute site/brand analytics
• Mentor and guide freelance writers

Equivalent Education Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in content production or project management, or equivalent.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and HTML/CSS.
• Experience with digital content development as well as production.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Communications, or related field.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
