Day Shift $70k-110k Yearly

Job Description

This position is designed to improve and optimize manufacturing while meeting quality and product standards. The individual in this position should optimize the current and future production process by improving and implementing improvements that positively affect the production process in quality, safety, efficiency, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and work to improve the current production process by working to improve cost and quality.
• Identify machinery and tooling needed to support the production of new products.
• Identify and design necessary fixtures and tooling.
• Ensure that product standards and specifications are being met.
• Be able to participate in ADQP throughout the introduction of a new product.
• Work with operators and technicians to improve the production process and improve efficiency.
• Employ knowledge of the material, product design, machining and fabrication processes, production equipment, assembly methods, quality control, and safety standards.
• Complete and analyze studies related to process capabilities, gage studies, and equipment utilization.
• Take necessary actions in the corrective action process.
• Be able to plan, prioritize, justify, and execute capital plans.

Qualifications

Education- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Management

Background in Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing required as well as previous

engineering experience preferred.
