About this Position:

Maximize manufacturing OEE & line capacities through cycle time & downtime reduction with a focus on FOG / FSI activity on mechanical & electrical projects.

Responsibilities include:

Maximize production output through cycle time and downtime reduction:

• Troubleshoot & Analyze equipment to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop & implement countermeasures to eliminate reoccurring long downtime situations.
• Work to determine root cause analysis.
• Analyze equipment data to identify areas for improvement in equipment – use trend data to proactively address issues before they are major problems.
• Lead long downtime situations with troubleshooting electrical & mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

• Prepare reports for long downtime situations & month-end OEE reporting.
• Support projects and identify new technologies for improvement:
• Identify new technologies/equipment/processes that can drive continuous improvement – test the concept.
• Support projects or participate as a team member so that intended/required project outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

Who we are seeking:

Required Experience:

No experience is required. Entry-level engineering position. Prior co-op experience preferred.

Required Education:

BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

Other job-specific skills:

Mechanical/electrical design, PLC Programming, Fanuc Robot Programming, CNC Programming, Microsoft Office, knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems
