Lockheed Martin is seeking A Manufacturing Team Lead for a position in Troy, AL to support production, business and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.

All functions and job duties assigned to PMT (Performance Management Team) Leader, including but not limited to:

Planning and assigning work to teammates.

Tracking and documenting attendance.

Tracking and documenting Performance metrics.

Building effective relationships within the team through team building and recognition.

Ensuring the facilities of an inclusive workplace.

Daily supervision.

Relocation: Relocation assistance is possible for this exciting position.

The Locale: Troy, Alabama is located in the East Gulf Coastal Plains region of southeastern Alabama. Troy's climate is typical of areas along the Gulf of Mexico in that it has hot, humid summers and mild winters.

Troy is a great place to live offering lots of things to do and has a small-town charm. Troy is also a college town and is home to Troy University.

Where can you get to from Troy? Our facility in Troy is just under an hour south of Montgomery, Alabama. Troy is about 2.5 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Walton Beach and Florida's Pan Handle. Troy is about three hours from Atlanta, GA.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree required in related field of study at the Bachelor level or above or equivalent experience / combined education

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting

Working knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems

Excellent oral, active listening, and written communication skills

Team building skills

Ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics

Ability to maintain good employee relations within a team

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Desired Skills:
Ability to provide leadership and obtain Lean /Six Sigma Green Belt certification

Working knowledge of and exposure to managing cost, quality, and schedule metrics.

Exposure to supervisory duties, ability to maintain good employee relations within a team

Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missile & Fire Control’s Pike County Operations operational procedures

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
