JOB SUMMARY
The concierge is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to boaters in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner.
Assists boaters with directions, reservations, troubleshooting, and other inquiries

  • Position requires making slip reservations for individual boaters, boat clubs and assist with long-term lease arrivals.
  • Provides customers with information about marina, internet, and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
  • Set up, maintain and post daily revenue journals.
  • Delivers messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
  • Explains rates for transient guests and accepts payment
  • Completes all tasks in a timely manner as instructed by the General Manager
  • Treats boaters and associates with courtesy, respect and dignity
  • Executes all terms and conditions as set forth in the Oasis Marinas Associate Handbook and other policies and procedure
  • Maintains clean, neat work environment including all surrounding areas of dock, marina lobby, restrooms, trash receptacles, and outdoor area
  • Process all reservation forms, folio cards and payment for dockage, concierge services for slip owners and guests.
  • Operate reception desk, Telephone and VHF Marine radio communications, dockage coordination, fuel dock coordination and log, vessel key log maintenance, outside contractor insurance compliance, and MMS software operations.
  • Promote all aspects and business of the marina in a positive manner while maintaining the highest level of guest services.
  • Maintain boater's lounge appearance and inventory.
  • Creating Reservations
  • Work with Staff and Customers in a willing and fun manner.
  • Able to multi task and problem solve
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.
  • Qualification requirements
  • General accounting skills
  • Must be acquainted with Microsoft Office software or able to learn
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and Data Entry skills
  • Customer-service driven attitude
  • Experience in Quickbooks is preferred
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting systems and Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
