Marine Mechanic – Boat Service
Do you enjoy spending time on the shores of Lake Tahoe? Do you like the challenge of fixing things and problem solving? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Marine Mechanic.
At Homewood High & Dry Marina we store, winterize, and activate all boat types including wake surf boats, waterski boats, runabouts, pontoons, and feature brands such as Nautique, Supreme, Barletta, Regal, Volvo Penta, Mercury Marine, and PCM. We are a full-service marina offering maintenance and major repairs.

In addition to working on the water and in a well-lit indoor shop, we are leading the charge in the boating industry and in the region and are home to the first electric watersport boat charging station and home to the first electric eFoil charging station in Lake Tahoe. In addition, our mechanics are PCM, Volvo and Mercury Marine certified and are willing to train and advance the right candidate to the next level.
Previous Experience with Marine Mechanics is desired but not require. Extensive training program for the right candidate.- Certification highly desirable
- The applicant must be responsible, place an emphasis on customer service, and communicate well.
- A mechanic who brings their own tools desired.

Our three properties consist of: the West Shore Café & Inn, a lakeside fine dining restaurant, event venue and boutique 6 room inn, the Homewood High & Dry Marina featuring boat storage, service and sales, and Homewood Mountain Resort with over 1,200 acres of skiing/riding positioned 280 steps to Lake Tahoe.
