The Market President is a leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of branch activities for the Home Federal Bank locations in Lexington and Holdrege, Nebraska including public relations efforts, developing new business, underwriting, structuring, and closing of commercial loans as well as maintaining and servicing an existing loan and depository portfolios.

Essential Job Functions:

• Directs and oversees the production activities of commercial and consumer lenders in the market.
• Represents and promotes Home Federal Bank in the communities of the market in a professional manner
• Plans, organizes, and controls all day-to-day activities of their market of the Bank.
• Monitors existing loans and deposits portfolio to maintain quality and profitability, ensuring past due loans, charge-offs and nonperforming assets and documentation exceptions are all at acceptable levels.
• Meets or exceeds production and profitability goals for the assigned market by business development and managing lending staff within the assigned market.
• Leads implementation of Bank’s marketing programs to support market strategies and initiatives.
• Manage the budget, analyzes and interprets business financial statements.
• Provides leadership and supervises staff.
• Contributes to strategic level discussions with Executive Leadership team
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years-experience in financial industry including commercial and real estate lending experience, required
• 2 years-experience in credit analysis
• NMLS Registration or ability to be registered
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of all compliance regulations for real estate, installment and commercial lending, required
• Well-organized, self-motivated individual who has strong sales skills
