JOB SUMMARY for Commodity Market Researcher:

The Market Researcher will be responsiblefor closely monitoring market and industry trends on specific protein markets. Thisposition will provide support to the Commodity Market Reporter/Analyst with thetimely, accurate, objective findings in daily reports, preparation of detailedanalysis, and contributions to product development. The Market Researcher will specialize inthe compiling and analyzing data market research, reporting, and themaintenance of data sets. As employee development is essential,responsibilities and job function may expand and evolve proportionate to theemployer’s needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS for Commodity Market Researcher: (include, but notlimited to)

· Learnthe market drivers in key commodity area including but not limited to: supplystatistics, demand drivers, price influencers

· Collectand interpret relevant data using modern and traditional methods

· Collaboratewith team members to develop actionable ideas off data gathered

· Analyzeassigned protein markets, applying learned methodologies to report findings

· Takeownership for quality and accurateness of data sets

· Maintainand generate new industry contacts

· Interpretdata, formulate reports and make recommendations

· Professionallywork with internal and external partners

QUALIFICATIONS for Commodity Market Researcher:

· Bachelor’sDegree or Higher; Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Marketing

· Problemsolving abilities and analytical thinker

· Strongtechnical background with Microsoft programs including but not limited to Excel,PowerPoint, Word, SQL, and Access

· Advancedproficiency with Microsoft Excel a must

· Goodcommunication skills highlighted by strong writing samples and public speakingexperience

· Abilityto work under pressure and attention to detail

· Sometravel required
