Marketing Communications Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep promotional materials and literature inventoried, ready and organized by coordinating requirements with third part fulfillment center, printer, and other vendors
  • Support commercial strategy during rollout of new products as requested
  • Maintain and optimize customer database and other lead generation systems
  • Assist in the development of standardized presentation templates
  • Manage library of marketing communications and reference materials (e.g., collateral, logos, presentations photographic images, price sheets, projects, and photography.)
  • Manage direct mail, fax, and email databases as well as direct mail fulfillment requests
  • Assist with product commercialization as well as various marketing brand-building initiatives
  • Manage the re-design and edits of data sheets and other technical assets
  • Copy, edit, proof and revise communications as requested
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics of all conferences and trade shows
  • Update internal company digital and printed communication programs each month
  • Manage all literature and sample fulfillment requests

Skills and Specifications

  • Business to business communications experience.
  • Demonstrated success at interacting effectively with all levels of an organization as well as external audiences to create effective communications.
  • Must be a “self-starter” who is able to work in an autonomous and independent manner to produce polished and professional product
  • Ability to work with and manage outside agencies and vendors
  • Highly collaborative team player
  • Able to work under pressure and be flexible with responsibilities
  • Develop timelines and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to embrace new technology as well as possess computer skills: Microsoft office suite, WordPress, and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, flexible, with a great attitude
  • Must be able to embrace new technology as well as possess exceptional computer skills: Microsoft office suite, AdobeIllustrator or Photoshop, WordPress, and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Experience using email/marketing automation platforms. (i.e. Sharpspring, Agorapulse)
  • Familiarity with data asset management software such as Canto0020
  • Construction industry experience a plus
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing office environment and able to lift packages weighing 20-25 pounds

Education and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but will consider equivalent relevant experience
