The Role:

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for providing coordination for NMR Group’s marketing activities and work within the marketing team to deliver the group marketing plan. The role is home based with regular meetings at NMR’s head office in Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Essential Key Skills:

  • Two years relevant experience
  • Understanding of marketing campaigns
  • Competent user of Microsoft office products and web-based services
  • Excellent written and numerical skills
  • Familiar and confident with the use of social media platforms
  • Experience in website administration and design
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud design software – or similar
  • Comfortable using Google Analytics or similar
  • Good time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a flexible manner, adapting to new situations
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritise
  • Self-motivated with a positive, enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude
  • Able to work well within a team but also autonomously
  • Valid driving license

Desirable Skills:

  • Some agricultural / veterinary knowledge
  • Business analysis experience

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing support

  • Supporting the Marketing Manager in the delivery of the marketing plan.
  • Assisting with the development of campaign collateral (social media posts, client communications, internal briefing docs)
  • Liaison with the sales team to support sales activities – eg provision of product and briefing docs
  • Setting up events (client facing events and public events eg vet or farmer meetings, county shows or industry events.)
  • Sourcing client testimonials and approval to use in campaign collateral or online
  • Carrying out market research and checking press and social media for competitor activity and trends.
  • Working with Marketing Manager on NMR NPS scores and identify areas which need improving
  • Coordination of production of marketing materials by liaising with our third party providers
  • Auditing and ordering company collateral (eg product leaflets), merchandise and kit, making sure each member of staff has what they need and providing the kit to them accordingly
  • Other admin tasks and projects as reasonably requested by their manager

Analytical work

  • Providing analysis of marketing data to illustrate campaign performance and compilation of monthly marketing report
  • Providing regular updates of web traffic using Google Analytics
  • Collecting and analysing feedback following campaigns and events

Digital work

  • Managing social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages
  • Audit of all social media activity on a regular basis – to ensure they are all conveying the campaign message relevant to that channel’s target audience
  • Checking the company websites are up to date – news, campaign messages etc
