Butler Machinery is seeking a Marketing Manager to join Our Team. As the Marketing Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and the activities of the Marketing Department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads a team of professionals that develop and execute marketing strategies to achieve stated company goals and objectives, target new and existing customers, and increase market share.
  • Manages the execution of promotional activities across all media channels.
  • Communicates marketing plans to all internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of marketing tactics and communicates the progress and results to senior leadership.
  • Leads all aspects of staffing and development of the Marketing team.
  • Manages relationships and strategies with outside agencies and suppliers.
  • Collaborates with various division leaders to leverage market research and support opportunities for increased sales.
  • Manages customer satisfaction surveys and customer experience initiatives.
  • Responsible for CRM data integrity and leverages data for campaigns, territory coverage and research.
  • Participates and presents to leadership and salesforce during annual meetings
  • Works with branch locations on specific marketing needs for their region and product lines.
  • Works within to promote vision, mission, and values of BMC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:

  • Establishes team members individual goals that support the department strategies and ultimately support stated company goals and objectives.
  • Organizes, communicates, and delegates responsibilities and priorities to subordinates to ensure the successful operation of the department.
  • Provides regular and timely feedback that recognizes employee performance, motivates team and promotes self-development.
  • Communicates with and coaches team members on assignments, providing technical expertise as needed.
  • Selects, trains and develops team consistent with department/division goals, providing coaching on career development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or training required. Preference for degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
  • Management and leadership skills with ability to work under pressure are essential.
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communications.
  • Budget-management skills and proficiency
  • Experience with Market Analysis preferred.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production
  • Excellent computer skills required.
