Job Summary

M Salon (formally Salon Monai) is seeking success driven stylist to grow with our company. We are conveniently located inside of the Killeen Mall with plenty of walk in traffic. We are seeking stylist skilled in the following areas:

Color, barber cuts, women cuts, Natural hair styling, Relaxers, hair extensions, keratin treatments, and all things healthy hair care. The Master Stylist will perform professional cuts, styles, chemical services and therapeutic hair and scalp treatments.

Responsibilities and Duties

Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.

Provide consistent professional hair treatments in accordance with salon protocols and accepted certification practices.

Professionalism

Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.

Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.

Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the salon’s policies and procedures.

Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required.

Possess ability to work without direct supervision.

Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the salon.

Qualifications and Skills

Texas State License (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Experience:

• Cosmetology: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Barbering License (Preferred)
• Cosmetology License (Preferred)
